I debating calling this post, “How Women Can Have it All.”
But that’s a little misleading.
We all make sacrifices to get what we want. By default, I guess that isn’t “having it all.”
But can we get our time back and still feel fulfilled in our career? Can we make time for self-care? To grow our business? To not feel overwhelmingly overwhelmed by running a business and having a normal semblance of a life?
I think so.
And that’s really what this video and post are all about. Comment below if you agree 🙂

“Define success on your own terms, achieve it by your own rules, and build a life you’re proud to live.” – Anne Sweeney (President of Walt Disney)
That’s the dream.
But are you living it?
Women in America have come a long way.
In the 20th, our ancestors fought for us to have a voice, a vote, and a place in the workplace.
We bought into the idea that we could have it all.
But there were unintended consequences…
Women became responsible for working both inside and outside the home.
This led to a lack of time and a never ending sense of overwhelm.
So was the promise of having it all just a steaming pile of poop? Not at all. The idea was just a little ahead of it’s time.
A new kind of pioneer is paving the way for a major shift. And it’s benefiting all of us.
Women like Marie Forleo, Danielle LaPorte, Laura Roeder, and Amy Porterfield are all achieving their goals and doing it by their own rules.
But the marketing guru model isn’t the only way to succeed.
Lots of women have used their passion to design the life they want on their own terms.
Kristina Carrillo-Bucaram vlogs about her life eating a fullyraw, vegan diet and runs an organic co-op.
Mr. Kate (Kate Albrecht) is killing it with her home design and DIY videos.
And Rosanna Pansino has built a baking empire from her YouTube Channel – Nerdy Nummies.
If you’re running a business, but still feel time-starved, it’s time to implement some simple systems and reclaim our time.
Because…
We’re all capable of defining success on our own terms.
We’re all capable of reclaiming our time and living life to the fullest.
And you deserve it too.
