What do you think… is email marketing dead?
“Millenials don’t use email.”
“The inbox is too crowded.”
“It’s all about social now.”
Hey email doubter… I hear you. But I have to set the record straight.
Not only is email still very much alive, it hasn’t even reached the elderly years yet.
Boost Sales Like You Have Magic Powers
Drop your email below to get the FREE 3-part guide to start boosting sales and freeing up time (some see results in days).
Before I get any further, it should be noted that I’m not arguing against social… or messenger… or podcasting… or micro-blogging… or any other component of your content marketing plan. They all have their place.
Email’s place is quite unique, and we haven’t really found another suitable method to take its place (yet) in the business world.
Email is more organized than messenger. But more intimate than a social feed. People still have to opt-in to email, and we still own that contact information once they do.
I can’t think of another form of digital business communication that is comparable.
Yes. At least, my clients do.
They’re still enjoying their high open rates and kick-butt sales stats…
Like the webinar campaign with open rates in the 40-50% and CTR in the 20% range…
Or the e-commerce store that increased sales by more than 50% in just two weeks).
That’s because no matter how you are getting traffic through the door, the backend email followup is crucial to stay top of mind, nurture prospects, and SELL.
Promote via webinar? Email follow-ups will account for about 50% of your sales AND they’ll get no-shows back in to watch the replay.
Booking on discovery calls? Send your prospects into a follow-up sequence to nudge them off the fence.
Get signups from groups? Craft a killer welcome sequence to build the know/like/trust factor while you warm them up for that big launch.
There are emails to NURTURE and emails to SELL. Make sure to send out regular nurture emails and your sales emails will perform MUCH better.
Too much to put on your plate right now? That’s ok, I can help.
